Hello Everyone! I just wanted to post a quick recipe I made on the fly tonight. An asian inspired zucchini: slice one zucchini (or however much you want) into approx 1/4″ slices, place in one layer on a sheet of foil, drizzle with sesame seed oil, salt, and place under broiler for about 3 minutes. Keep an eye on it…in the last minute or less, sprinkle with sesame seeds and toast a little under the broiler. Quick, easy, and delicious way to get in the veggies. I know everyone has been posting recently about the influence about Crossfit and I’m jumping on the bandwagon. Having done Crossfit for about 2.5 months I’ve already seen gigantic improvements in my physical ability as well as my daily life. Everyone harps on how Crossfit changes you as a person but I think it’s something indescribable. I’m astounded by how feeling good about myself has changed my outlook and actions in life. When I started Crossfit I couldn’t imagine the days of doing an
Rxed WOD but somehow I’ve got there. I’m pushed my body to amazing limits and by no means am I planning on stopping. The paleo challenge allowed me to lose fourteen pounds and see that the food I was eating was slowly killing me, a little dramatic maybe, but it’s true! Thanks to everyone at the box, to the people that help me with my movements everyday and those I’ve never met because we all post our scores and push each other to limits we wouldn’t go by ourselves. I love this Hammerdown family, so glad I joined.
