Bench: 45, 55, 65, 75, 80 (3)
Pull Ups: No weighted pulls, just worked on unassisted, trying to work on more than one before dropping from the bar, was able to manage 2 in a row.
Bench: 135, 155, 165, 185, 195*4.5
Weighted Pull-ups: +40, +70, +90 (F), +90 (F), +90 (F – was definitely chin TO bar, but I don’t know if it was chin OVER bar)
Last session (early summer 2010) I ended at 195*5 and +75.
Weighted pullups: unsure what the weight was..comparable to a medium sized child…

Thanks to coach Rich for all the tips on the bench press. I was doing soooo much wrong. Great working out with the noon crew….thanks to Connie for partnering with me.
Started too light, ended too heavy. I’ll know better for next time! I started so light because my previous 1RM for bench (8 months ago?) was 135. Didn’t expect to get past 115 for 5 reps. Then 125 felt so good I blew past it to 145 and got owned.
WPU: 40, 60, 71, 80 f, 80, 85 f, 85.
Hadn’t kipped weighted pullups before. My previous max for strict wpu was 68.
Bench: 95(5),115(3),130(1),140(1),145(fail)
Pullups: really not sure what the weights in the weight vests were but I’m assuming somewhere in the relm of 60-80 pounds? Or one “large child.”
My 6am is open. The back is not feeling so good after the cleans on Wednesday.

Good job Chris!!! You are experimenting!!! That’s learning!!! That is another way of figuring out progress.
