I want to give a huge shout out to Marla and Jason for taping Alison, David, and me up this weekend to prepare for our competition. Having never used Rock Tape before it worked like a charm and I had no pain at all in my shoulder where it is usually prevalent. If anyone needs any adjustments, taping-jobs, or something just doesn’t feel right, hit up Marla and Jason!! http://www.centrevillechiro.com/
Darby is right on…….thank you Marla and Jason for helping us out. I got both my forearms taped and had no problems throughout the five WOD’s we did over the weekend. We did a lot of pulling (power cleans, snatches, pull up’s, hang cleans……..no pain). If you are looking for a chiropractor then these guys come highly recommended
A lot of practice sets later ended up with a PR – digging the movement! Great work to Holley and Alison, nothings better than starting my day off with you ladies!
Definitely started to feel more aggressive once the weight got heavy. Thanks for the encouragement Holley and Darby….always great to get feedback. The video helped me see my early arm pull Todd, thank you
Failed at 105 due to inability to get under the bar fast enough. I could get the bar plenty high enough but lacked the confidence to go all the way down with that much weight overhead.
45, 50, 60, 65, 70, 75 (stayed at 75 and worked on form from the ground and then dropped down to 65 and did it from high hang a few times, remembering to keep arms straight as long as possible until on the way down, get down fast). Had fun working with Marla!! Thanks for the videos TK!
Think I could’ve tried for more weight after practicing, ran out of time, but I like the movement!!
strictly worked on form & technique – did a lot from the hang position. Had 52# and 62# on the bar mostly.
Thanks for all the coaching today TK and Brandon – I def needed it!
Looking for a 6am
My 6am is open
I will take your 6am Jason. Thanks.
my 6 is open
