A) 15 minutes work up to approximately 85% of your 3 rep deadlift. (For 3 reps… all reps touch n go).

    A: … => 265 lbs. Could have gone heavier but wanted to save myself for the lunges (HA!)

    B: DNF. Did round of 21, then got to 5th CP and hit total failure, so did 9 SDHP, then went back and did a couple more CPs.

    Holy Jeebus I cannot do lunges. Other movements were easy enough to do unbroken, but hit failure on the lunges in round 1 and then every one was a gut check. I am a big glass of suck sauce.

    Apparently when I’m away for too long I forget how to read these workouts. I did my warmup sets, then tried to do 5 sets of 3 at ~85%. Whoops. Anyway,

    A: 3*3 @ 255. tweaked by back on the first rep of set 4, so called it.
    B: See A

    Not a great first day back.

    B) DNF: Finished 7 Curtis P’s short of finish @ 68#. (Complete all Sumos and the 21 and 15 Curtis P rounds). Lunges were a killer on my glutes.

    Could have finished if I had 21 minutes instead of 20.
