A) Push Jerk: 15 minutes, work up to a heavy Triple

B) “Jack”

Complete as many rounds as possible in 20 minutes of:
115 pound Push press, 10 reps
10 KB Swings, 1.5 pood
10 Box jumps, 24 inch box

Army Staff Sgt. Jack M. Martin III, 26, of Bethany, Oklahoma, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group, Fort Lewis, Wash., died September 29th, 2009, in Jolo Island, Philippines, from the detonation of an improvised explosive device. Martin is survived by his wife Ashley Martin, his parents Jack and Cheryl Martin, and siblings Abe, Mandi, Amber and Abi.

    Note: For “a” I think I wrote down 165#, but that is wrong. Only got 2 reps and failed on the last one. PR is 145#. If I tried again, I can get 165# no problem, just a lack of concentration today. For “b”, last time I said this was fun and did it at 95#/1pood. I take that back. Did it Rx this time and 2 rounds less and it was NOT fun at all, but I need to suck it up to honour our fallen heroes.

      Mod Wod at my office gym:
      A. Dumbbell Push Jerk: got up to 40# DB’s

      B: 10 DB Push Press: 25#
      10 KB Swings – only 24# – only KB this gym has haha
      10 Box Jumps – maybe 20inch? not sure…

      10 Rounds in the 20 mins

      tomorrow will be a week since I’ve been at the box – missing it!!!

    -got 205 for 2, I could have gotten three if I had more time
    -last time I did jack in 8 rounds and with 45#
